Established in 2023, this company may seem new, but owner Austin Hawes has lived in Reno his whole life, and has been climbing your trees since 2017.

 

Austin found tree work unexpectedly at a mandatory picnic for an unnamed company. Avoiding awkward small talk by staring mournfully at the hotdogs, he looked across the park to see a group of arborists having the time of their life maintaining the city's trees. The next day, he quit working for the unnamed company and started his tree journey. Under the mentorship of Reno's top arborists, he honed his skills and achieved ISA Certified Arborist status in 2020. Drawing from years of experience and the support he garnered, Austin proudly established the Biggest Little Tree Service.

The Biggest Little Tree Service was founded on the principle of keeping the beautiful trees of Reno healthy by meticulously assessing each tree's needs and using minimally invasive techniques whenever possible. We strive to be responsible stewards of the land by pledging to not use pesticides or other chemicals which may harm pollinators or other animals.
